The Coingaming Group, which operates bitcoin betting brands including BitCasino.io and Sportsbet.io, has appointed former William Hill executive Richard Walsh to the position of managing director.
Walsh, who spent more than 20 years at William Hill in a number of senior management positions, will be based at Coingaming’s headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia.
He will report directly to CEO Tim Heath and will oversee operations for the group, which includes a soon-to-launch e-sports-focused brand.
Heath said: “I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Richard to the Coingaming team.
“We have grown as a company extremely quickly, so it is critically important that we put a world-class executive team in place to ensure this development can be sustained.
“Richard is an industry veteran who has worked for one of the most successful brands in gaming. His experience will be vital in taking Coingaming to the next level.”
