InterGame editor Simon Liddle was part of a team that successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge at the weekend to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The team made it around the 25-mile course, scaling the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in 12 hours and raised more than £3,500 for CR UK.
“We’ve been really touched by the number of people that got behind the challenge and helped us raise funds for such a fantastic cause,” said Liddle. “I’d like to especially thank Christine, David and all of my colleagues at InterGame for their amazing support, as well as the generosity of everyone in the industry who kindly donated.
“Thank you also to Marshall Ashdown of Helix Leisure for the flat cap – it came in useful at the top of the final peak!”
