US-based amusement equipment manufacturer Bay Tek Games has announced the partial purchase of Zymo Interactive, a group founded in 2013 specialising in mobile app development, web design and development and game design.

“If you simply try to innovate within your own four walls you will fail,” said Holly Hampton, Bay Tek’s director of innovation. “We couldn’t be happier to partner with a young, fresh firm that is so talented and they are right here in our beautiful backyard.
“This addition only enhances our already talented staff.”
The first collaboration between the two companies is Gridiron Blitz, which will be on show at this month’s IAAPA Attractions Expo. Designed specifically for Dave and Buster’s venues, the game uses technology never seen before in Bay Tek’s portfolio of products.
“The entire team at Zymo is incredibly excited to be a part of the Bay Tek family,” said the company’s Dawn Gut. “It was clear from our first meeting that there were many commonalities, especially in passion for really cool products. It’s been a blast working with and stretching our brains as one group.
“We feel honoured that a company like Bay Tek, with such high values and standards, has invited us so warmly in. We look forward to inspiring and being inspired and we can’t wait to see what great things come out of combining forces.”
