Real-money online gambling sites in the US state of New Jersey saw revenues rise to $12.7m in April, compared with $11.4m for April 2014 - an increase of 11.1 per cent.

Figures released this week by the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement revealed that revenues from online poker dropped to $2m in the month, down 23 per cent year on year.

To the end of April 2015, the total online gaming revenue in New Jersey is up 11 per cent to $47.8m, from $43.1m in the same period in 2014.

Online poker revenues meanwhile have fallen by more than 30 per cent to $8.6m.
