Norbert Teufelberger, CEO of bwin.party, said receipt of the licence marked “an important milestone” for the company’s US business.

“We believe that the path to regulation across the US is inevitable and expect that other states will soon follow.

“Together with our partners, we are focused on delivering a safe and secure real-money gaming experience for adults wishing to play games using mobile, touch and desktop channels,” he added.

Bwin.party operates New Jersey’s most popular online gaming platform, which supports the Borgata Casino, Borgata Poker and partypoker brands.
