Peter Harvey revealed he and his team at Talarius are “delighted” with the UK-based adult gaming centre operator’s performance in the past year.

The company was described as a “standout performer” in Australian parent group Tatts’ FY14 results announcement earlier this year. Harvey, who serves as chief operating officer, attributed its success to the “hard work and determination” of its people across the company.

“In 2014 we worked to lay the foundations for longer-term growth and to drive the business forward, including further investment in our motorway services business,” he told InterGame. “We are already seeing the benefits of the development initiatives we implemented to increase sales, which includes the refurbishment of our venues, increased investment in our staff and machine estate while always maintaining a tight control on costs.

“Looking ahead, the strong momentum has continued into the first half which gives us confidence of continued growth in 2015.”
