One of Las Vegas’ most iconic casinos, New York New York, has chosen Sacoa PlayCard for its newly remodelled Big Apple Coaster and Arcade.

A major renovation to the existing Coney Island Amusement Emporium is taking place this month and is expected to open around the time of the Amusement Expo, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 26-27.

The debit card system will be used in the casino’s game room featuring more than 200 pieces of equipment, as well as at the redemption counter, roller coaster and various food concessions. This will also be the first time any MGM Resorts International property has gone entirely ticketless with redemption, opting for the e-tix system, where winnings are stored on the cards.

The next stage in the process will be to enable hotel guests to use their room keys to charge entertainment, purchase food and play games in the arcade.

“It is truly an honour for Sacoa to be selected by the New York New York management team as their cashless payment provider,” said Sacoa director Sebastian Mochkovsky.

“This is incredible having a premiere location in Vegas to showcase our product,” added Brian Duke, the company’s new business development manager. “It’s the first major spot in America to install our new ColorShot HTD with All-In-One Technology and Touchscreen.

“With all the trade shows being held there each year, we’ll be able to tell attendees they can now see our system in full operation at Big Apple Coaster and Arcade.”
