UK-based Quixant has launched the “next generation” gaming platform QX-40.
The all-in-one gaming platform is based on the new AMD R-Series APU featuring AMD Radeon HD7000G series graphics. Its launch coincides with AMD’s official launch of the R-Series APU chipset.
According to Quixant, the QX-40 has been designed to meet the demands of high performance, multi-screen graphics-intensive gambling applications. As such, it has the graphics power to drive up to 10 screens.
“The new QX-40 delivers graphics performance never before seen in an integrated gaming platform,” said Nick Jarmany, managing director of Quixant. “The ability to drive up to 10 screens is revolutionary and opens up interesting new possibilities to slot machines.
