The purchase provides a 230 per cent increase in area and comes less than two years after the company acquired its current facility, which will now be converted into warehouse and testing space.

Members of the Quixant team were joined at the opening ceremony by Ken Lin, sales director for the AMD embedded solutions division.

“We are very pleased that our continuing rapid rate of growth enables us to accelerate our investment in new facilities and personnel in Taiwan,” said company MD Nick Jarmany. “Quixant is committed to being the premier supplier of computing products to the global gaming industry. As an elite member of AMD's Fusion Partner Programme we are honoured to have AMD join us for the opening ceremony.”

The Quixant Taiwan branch, which is located in the Far Eastern Century Park technology park, is headed up by general manager and director JJ Lin.
