Lottovate in Norway and Lottovate Netherlands, both wholly owned subsidiaries of Zeal Network, are set to launch new lottery products in their respective markets.

Zeal’s Lottovate heads to Netherlands, Norway

In Norway, Lottovate’s partnership with UNICEF has been approved by the Norwegian regulator, making Lottovate one of only two operators to be granted a charity lottery licence in the country.

The launch of the new lottery is expected in the second quarter of 2017.

In the Netherlands, Lottovate’s licence is the first full operator licence for the Zeal Group and allows Lottovate to operate a nationwide charity lottery under the Dutch regulatory framework for five years.

Dr Helmut Becker, chief executive officer of Zeal, said: “We are extremely pleased to be launching innovative lottery products in Norway and the Netherlands.

“The collaboration with UNICEF in Norway has proven to be a successful one and we are happy to offer our customers a unique online lottery experience. At the same time, our customers will be able to support beneficial development projects for children in under developed and war-torn countries.

“In the Netherlands, the decision of the Dutch regulator to approve the Lottovate licence is a powerful validation of the quality of our offering and our long-standing expertise in the field of online lotteries. It also underlines the excellent progress we are making with Lottovate."
