William Hill has announced a sponsorship deal with Las Vegas Lights FC, a soccer club playing in the United Soccer League.
The news of the agreement, with a club operating a level below Major League Soccer, arrives a day after William Hill’s US CEO Joe Asher said at the East Coast Gaming Congress he gets a sponsorship request from a sports team at least once a day.
Sponsorships and streaming options are some of the ways teams and leagues will make money from sports betting, Asher said, which is why he believes there is no need for an integrity fee in sports betting bills.
