Instead of choosing just one cause to support during Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, William Hill Bingo is letting its bingo community decide and not just one, but five charities will be receiving a donation.
Players have until October 17 to nominate a cancer charity via an online form, and then the charities suggested will be listed for all the players to vote for their favourite. The five receiving the most votes will all get an equal share of the charity pot of profits from special Pink Ticket games.
This will begin on October 17, when six fund raising games with prize pools ranging from £25 to £75 will be held every day in the community room. The charity Pink Tickets are 10p each and the promotions run until October 31. All profits raised from the Pink Ticket games during this time will be split equally between the top five voted cancer charities.
"There are many charities who all do wonderful and vital work for people affected by cancer, so we thought it only fair to give our players the chance to donate to the ones that mean the most to them. Over the past few years, William Hill Bingo has donated over £45,000 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month and we know our bingo community will be behind us with this year’s fund-raising effort," said William Hill Bingo spokesman Tony Kenny.
