Mobile sports betting wagers in the US state of Tennessee recovered both year-on-year and month-on-month in March.

The monthly comparison showed a jump of 24.5 per cent, from $380.4m to $473.6m, according to figures released by the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council.

Year-on-year, the figure rose by 20.6 per cent from last March’s $392.7m.

Subsequent sports betting taxes rose by 24.8 per cent month-on-month from $7m in February to $8.7m in March.

Year-on-year, though, the figure dropped by 0.5 per cent.
