Daily fantasy sports provider Stokastic has appointed Yahoo Sports’ former senior director of product management for fantasy sports and sports betting as its new chief operating officer.
Daniel Haight spent eight years at Yahoo building its paid gaming product ecosystem which includes Yahoo Daily Fantasy, Yahoo Best Ball and Yahoo Sportsbook.
Effective from June 17, he said Stokastic’s “commitment to data-driven insights and creating unparalleled user experiences resonates with my own passion for the industry.”
“I'm excited to leverage my experience to help Stokastic continue to lead and innovate, ensuring our users have the best tools and experiences available,” he added.
Haight’s “deep understanding of the industry and his track record of driving growth and innovation” make him the “perfect fit,” said Stokastic CEO Tom Kennedy.
Haight was also responsible for boosting user engagement and growth at Yahoo alongside business strategy and profit and loss management.
