Michael Starzynski has left his position as chief technology officer at CryptoLogic as the company continues to reorganise its business.

The company is focusing on earning revenue from its internet casino and branded gaming business, as well as reducing annual operating costs by US$13m. The company is eliminating the costs of operating a stand-alone poker network and reducing its servers by 75 per cent. Consequently, the role of chief technology officer is not being replaced directly.

"All members of the CryptoLogic team join me in thanking Mike for his service over the last five years and wishing him well as he embarks on new challenges," said Brian Hadfield, CryptoLogic’s president and chief executive officer.
