Family friendly motion-control game Squeeballs, will be the world's first cross-platform motion game when it launches in October.

The game will be available for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and as an iPhone application. For the Xbox 360, the game will be bundled with Gametrak Freedom, the first motion-control system for the Xbox 360.

Performance Designed Products, a gaming accessory provider, is the developer of the game and technology.

The senior vice president of marketing for Performance Designed Products, John Moore, said: "The graphics and visual elements are much more realistic and with so many unique challenges to choose from, the game will keep families entertained for hours."

Squeeballs is a collection of more than 150 unique challenges that showcases the capabilities of the Gametrak Freedom controller. In the game, Squeeballs are toys that are manufactured on a secret island somewhere in the Pacific and they must be fully tested by the players of the game before they can be sold to children across the world.  By using the motion controller, players can blow up, cook, slice, bat, bowl, shoot and bounce the Squeeballs with greater accuracy than is capable with any other controller. The game is PDP’s first Microsoft-licensed title.
