Sportech chief financial officer Cliff Baty has left to take up the same position at English football club Manchester United.

Formerly working as finance director of i-gaming for Ladbrokes, Baty joined football pools operator Sportech in 2013 and has served on the company’s board since then.
Ed Woodward, executive vice-chairman at Manchester United, said: “He is a proven finance executive who brings a wealth of international business experience, and will be an excellent addition to our senior management team.”
