The number of wagering locations permitted for Sportech by the US state of Connecticut has been increased from 18 to 24.

The state’s Senate voted by 22-14 for a bill to become law 15 days after signing by the governor, who has the right to veto.

Sportech operates 15 venues in Connecticut at present and opens its 16th shortly in Stamford. That location is a 20,000sq.ft sports bar, restaurant and betting venue.
