SiGMA Asia will return to Manila in the Philippines in 2025 for its third edition, after SiGMA reported hosting a successful 2024 event.

Set to take place between June 1-4 at the SMX Convention Centre in Pasay, SiGMA said there will be a 40 per cent increase in floor space after the addition of a number of new areas in the floorplan.

Before then, SiGMA Asia will host an iGathering event in Incheon, South Korea, in August. The experience will include two nights at Inspire Entertainment Resorts’ new integrated resort and networking and conference activities.

For the 2024 event earlier this month, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by SiGMA founder Eman Pulis, Alejandro Tengco, the chairman of the company's board, and SiGMA Asia’s managing director Neil Shih, officially opened the conference.

The opening ceremony of the event also featured a performance from the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority and Tourism Promotions Board Philippines, who offered a cultural insight into Manila.

In a keynote speech, Maria Margarita Montemayor Mograles, the COO of the Philippines Tourism and Promotions Board, spoke about the importance of crafting engaging experiences in the tourism industry.

She said the Board has identified 13 key markets, including Singapore, Japan and Taiwan, which pull in around 100,000 visitors annually.

SiGMA Asia was first held in the Philippines in 2023 and has become a key staple of the events company’s calendar.
