SBC CEO and co-founder Rasmus Sojmark says innovation is “front and centre” of the events and media company’s upcoming Lisbon event.

SBC Summit Lisbon

The Portuguese capital’s Feira Internacional de Lisboa plays host to SBC Summit between September 24-26,  with sports betting set to be a key theme throughout.

The Sports Betting Zone is one of a number of dedicated zones for all parts of the igaming industry, and Sojmark said the zone “promises abundant networking opportunities, practical strategies and cutting-edge products and services crucial for navigating the digital age.”

A total of 25,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will also house a Casino & iGaming Zone and Player Protection Zone as well as a Media Headquarters and hubs for the Affiliate Leaders, Payment Expert & ESI Lisbon summits.

The opening day of the expo will explore the modernisation of traditional sports betting verticals, before sports betting strategies and their optimisation for enhanced success will be the focus of day two.

“On the final day, the educational program will maintain a rigorous focus on global sports betting partnerships and brand building,” SBC said.

“Throughout the day, delegates will have the opportunity to gain insights into the future of commercial football partnerships in Latin America, the global impact of esports on sports betting and sponsorships and how infotainment can aid in brand building while adhering to regulations, among other topics.”

Fitzdares CEO William Woodhams and Tipwin CEO Damir Boehm are among the industry voices set to offer their insight in Lisbon.
