Igaming provider Reelsoft has introduced a new commercial model which will allow game studios access to its Vision RGS without the costs of purchasing a platform.

Platform as a Service will allow studios to “focus on game development,” the company said, without investing in the remote gaming server, infrastructure, back-end development or internal hosting.

Companies can either secure a shared agreement for “cost-efficient” access or their own package which offers full use of Reelsoft’s back-office technology.

"We recognise that many innovative studios want to develop and distribute their own games but lack the financial resources to acquire their own RGS in the start-up phase," said Thomas Nimstad, CEO of Reelsoft (pictured).

"By introducing Platform as a Service, we’re making it easier for companies to enter the market, scale their content, and bring their ideas to life without the extensive barriers to entry."

Reelsoft’s commercial model will be integrated with its other technology, which includes Vision Link for aggregation, Vision Back Office for Analytics and Vision Promotions for player engagement.
