Poker media hub PokerTube has launched native mobile and tablet apps for iOS and Android devices.
The apps are available now for download from the iOS App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon App Store, and feature all the video and news content from the desktop site, as well as some special new features.
"While many online poker rooms have spent years developing sophisticated mobile platforms, affiliates in poker - and in the wider i-gaming space - are yet to produce top-quality products in this niche," said Jamie Nevin, founder of PokerTube parent company 180Vita.
"It can be a challenge, as you have to consider complicated elements around mobile tracking, geolocation and displaying offers specific to different mobile devices. However, it is a challenge we are more than capable of rising to with PokerTube."
180Vita has also significantly updated the PokerTube desktop site, with new features including a comprehensive tournament calendar and a regularly updated PokerTube leaderboard.
