PokerStars, the flagship poker brand of The Stars Group, has smashed its own record for the largest-ever online poker tournament series.

This year’s Spring Championship of Online Poker paid out US$105m, the first-ever online tournament to beat the $100m milestone.
This year’s SCOOP Main Event awarded over $1m to “Tankanza” from Italy, an unprecedented achievement after Tankanza also took first place in the same event in 2018 for more than $1.1m.
“Kepic” became the latest “dare to dream” candidate, taking home a $50,000 prize in the $215 buy-in NLHE Turbo, having bought-in for just $11.
SCOOP 2019 beat PokerStars’ 2018 record when its annual World Championship of Online Poker paid out nearly $100m and attracted 1.1 million entries.
