A criminal complaint has been filed in the Philippines against Andrea Domingo, the chair of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, who is accused of seeking to monopolise the country's igaming industry.

PAGCOR chief sued over igaming 'monopolisation'

Filing its complaint with the Philippines' Office of the Ombudsman, the Anti-Trapo Movement said Domingo should be investigated claiming that PAGCOR officials conspired and violated several laws that granted exclusive authority to the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel to handle legal matters concerning government-owned and controlled corporations.

The ATM said that "Domingo and her cohorts" had exhibited "clear malice and intent to monopolise the online gaming business" in their actions relating to a July ruling regarding regional online gaming jurisdictions.
