Online poker will be one of the key topics discussed at Frank Fahrenkopf's annual G2E briefing in Las Vegas this year.
The American Gaming Association president and CEO will hold an on-site media briefing on October 4, during G2E 2011, to discuss the latest gaming industry news.
Fahrenkopf will discuss the current state of the gaming industry given the challenging economic environment as well as the AGA’s position on and activities surrounding the licensing and regulation of online poker in the US.
He will also debut the preliminary topline results of a soon-to-be-released economic impact study that paints the most complete picture in a decade of the industry’s contributions to the US economy. The report shows that spending related to the commercial gaming industry totals nearly one per cent of the country’s gross domestic product.
