September 26’s scheduled round table on the second day of GOL Expo Peru, the country’s first event dedicated to sports betting and online gaming, promises some interesting exchanges.

Internet gambling legislation in Peru is quietly building momentum and the Internet Gambling White Paper could be officially published within the next two or three weeks. Thus, Latin America’s second online gaming regulated country is likely to be Peru, following Colombia.

"At this point we have confirmed the participation of several companies to take part in the round table, entitled 'Online gambling - Colombia's experience and Peru’s market expectations’, and we hope that the representatives of various companies can debate to deliver to visitors ideas of interest for their benefit in future business in this segment,” said Ricki Chavez-Munoz, CEO of the Greata Group, co-organisers of the event.

The event, which will also include a trade show, will be held at the Maria Angola Convention Centre in Lima on September 25-26.
