Total gross gaming revenue (GGR) in Denmark across land-based and online was stable in February amid a 5.8 per cent year-on-year rise in online casino revenue.

GGR hit DKK590m (£66.2m) in February, up 0.5 per cent from DKK587m (£65.8m) in February 2024.

Month-on-month, though, the figure fell 6.8 per cent from DKK633m (£71m) in January.

Online casino revenue once again dominated the landscape in Denmark, generating DKK294m (£33m) in GGR.

This was up 5.8 per cent year-on-year from DKK278m (£31.2m) but down 6.7 per cent from January’s DKK316m (£35.4m).

Betting revenue, the next biggest category of gaming for February, was DKK175m (£19.6m), down 1.7 per cent year-on-year from DKK178m (£20m) and down 9.8 per cent month-on-month from DKK194m (£21.8m).
