Sports betting is still very much on the rise, with multiple factors steering its growth. There is the now-burgeoning US market five years after PASPA was repealed and as discussed with iNTERGAMINGi, experts from NSoft, Inspired Entertainment and Betbazar note esports and virtual sports’ contributions to the sector.
Robert Matijevic, managing director for Seven Sportsbook at NSoft, says the fact that new and large markets are opening up is “boosting demand for a richer offering of sports.” He points to a “new breakthrough” in betting on US sports after the sector’s growth in the country in recent years, with the US offering “now further enriched with attractive bets including player props, which are becoming increasingly popular.”
