Mobile sports betting revenue in New York showed a month-on-month bounce-back but a year-on-year decline.

Revenue rose 15.4 per cent from February to US$151.7m.

However, the jump from $131.4m could not be matched by a year-on-year jump, with the yearly revenue comparison showing a 6.8 per cent decline from March 2023’s $162.8m.

Nevertheless, sports betting handle in the Empire State improved both month-on-month and year-on-year.

The figure rose 3.5 per cent from last March to $1.85bn and was up 4.3 per cent from February.

Flutter Entertainment’s FanDuel once again led the way in New York in March, posting revenue of $73.1m from handle of $781.2m.

DraftKings followed behind with revenue of $48.8m from handle of $612.2m.
