There has been a new record for mobile sports betting revenue in New York State, US, of US$247m.
The latest figure from the New York State Gaming Commission is up 6.7 per cent from November 2024’s previous best of $231.6m.
Year-on-year, the latest revenue figure is up 16.8 per cent from January 2024’s $211.5m and up 64.3 per cent month-on-month from December 2024’s $150.4m.
As for mobile sports betting handle, that total was another record figure in January 2025 of $2.48bn, up 6.9 per cent from the previous best of $2.32bn set in October 2024.
Year-on-year, handle rose 26.9 per cent from $1.96bn and month-on-month there was a rise of 8.8 per cent from $2.28bn.
