Penn Entertainment has strengthened ties between ESPN and ESPN Bet with a new account linking feature.

The ESPN Bet Mint Club offers bettors who have linked ESPN Bet and ESPN accounts access to promotions and offers such as deposit bonuses and profit boosts.
The community feature also provides access to the Favorites Ticker, which highlights events from users’ favourite teams on the ESPN Bet dashboard.
“Enhanced bet tracking,” meanwhile, allows users to better follow upcoming bets, progress towards winning parlays and filter scoreboards for games.
Penn is battling to improve the fortunes of ESPN Bet after struggles for profitability and market share since the US$2bn deal with Disney-owned ESPN in August 2023 to rebrand Penn’s Barstool Sportsbook.
Further recent developments involving the brand have included a deal for ESPN Bet to become the official betting operator of golf’s PGA Tour, resulting in a branded live betting stream.
But Penn president and CEO Jay Snowden admitted earlier this year that the company could activate a get-out clause next year, in year three of the deal.
On the igaming side, Penn has reported success with the roll-out of its Hollywood Casino app across the US.
