The free games download site My Real Games expects the current surge in popularity of online gaming to continue over the next 12 months.
Having reported four million unique visitors a month for the first time in July, My Real Games is continuing to see rapid growth with visitor numbers up another 17 per cent in the three months since.
The US and UK markets saw the greatest increase, with rises of 25 per cent and 17 per cent respectively. Already recording around 13 million page impressions per month, My Real Games expects that to increase to around 20 million per month by the end of Q1 2013.
Nikolai Veselov of My Real Games said the company is “incredibly confident” that 2013 will be an even bigger year for the online gaming industry with the site already being prepared to handle more visitors. “Demand is now so great that we add several additional free PC games each week, adding to our existing library of around 200 free titles," he said.
