The Swedish Gambling Authority has banned MRSL’s Mrsloty brand from the market after claiming it was operating without a licence.

The regulator, Spelinspektionen, said the company does not have the accreditation to offer gambling products to players in Sweden, adding that it is “not clear” from which country the operations are conducted.
However, Spelinspektionen said that Mrsloty offers Swedish customer support, contains information in Swedish and offers Swedish Krona as a currency – all of which would put the website under the purview of the regulator.
“MRSL does not have a licence to provide gambling services in Sweden,” a statement from the regulator said.
“The Swedish Gambling Authority considers it crucial for consumer protection and to ensure gambling safety that this decision is complied with immediately. Therefore, the decision is to take immediate effect.”
