Real-money online gaming win in the US state of New Jersey grew by 26.5 per cent in January compared with the same period in 2015, rising to $14.63m.

All properties offering real-money online gaming in the Garden State made year-on-year gains in January, where comparative figures are available.

Borgata saw the highest growth with a 20.7 per cent increase, year on year, taking $4.57m in the month. Caesars Interactive made the next highest gains, climbing 17.1 per cent year on year, to a win of $3.23m in January.

Online gaming win at the Tropicana also saw healthy progress, jumping 13 per cent compared with January 2015, to $2.89m.

Less stellar was the performance of Golden Nugget’s i-gaming offer, registering just a 1.7 per cent increase year on year (to $2.51m).

Resorts Digital, a relatively new entrant, having not begun online operations until February 2015, posted a January win of $1.43m.
