Microgaming, the Isle of Man-based online gaming software provider, has acquired the rights to Playwize 3D software.
Playwize Poker’s 3D setting enables players to customise their virtual character and try hundreds of different game combinations, such as Texas Hold ‘Em, Omaha, Five Card Stud and Seven Card Stud. The software also includes a complete poker tutorial and a practice mode that provides ‘as you play’ advice on each move.
Roger Raatgever, chief executive officer of Microgaming, said: “We are well known for our ability to stay ahead of the competition by providing our operators with the latest thinking, technology and game features.
“The Playwize acquisition brings advanced 3D functionality to our poker portfolio, which will be enjoyed by thousands of players worldwide.”
