Igaming revenue in Michigan rose by 21.4 per cent year-on-year in April to US$174.2m, with mobile sports betting revenue following suit with a 13.3 per cent increase.

Adjusted mobile sports betting revenue in the Great Lakes State was $27.8m. Month-on-month, revenue for both verticals declined by 10.4 per cent and 4.1 per cent.

The combined adjusted gross revenue figure of $201.93m was reduced from a total of $234.8m after deductions, with the overall total 8.7 per cent down on March 2024.

Mobile sports betting handle in Michigan was $399.1m, down 16.9 per cent from the $480.4m handle in March 2024.

A total of $37.6m was paid in taxes and payments by operators in April, the Michigan Gaming Control Board said.
