The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has ordered a company based in Curaçao to cease its offering of online casino games in the US state.

The regulator says Duranbah, which operates MyBookie, does not have a licence and cannot therefore offer its services to players in the Great Lakes State.
The cease-and-desist letter gives Duranbah 14 days to cease its offering. The MGCB said it could work with the Michigan Attorney General’s Office on “further legal actions” if the order is not complied with.
“Our investigation into MyBookie found that their operations were accessible to Michigan citizens, which violates state laws,” said the MGCB’s executive director Henry Williams.
“We are taking strong action to uphold the principles of fair and legal gaming.”
The regulator said MyBookie offers slots, poker and live dealer games such as blackjack, roulette and craps.
It also allows players to place bets on sporting events and horseracing.
