The regulator did not offer detail about the ruling but said the licensee is “no longer authorised to carry out any gaming operations” and must “refund all funds standing to the credit of players in line with the applicable law.”

The MGA said Rush Gaming “failed to comply with one or more applicable obligations in terms of any regulatory instrument or any other applicable law of Malta.”

It said Rush Gaming has a right to appeal the decision.
