Microgaming has followed up its 2012 arcade style game, Max Damage and the Alien Attack, with an online slot.
This alien themed product is a 5x3 reel, 243 ways-to-win game featuring alien-like symbols, vibrant animations and a retro soundtrack, all of which pays homage to the 80s arcade-style theme.
Mike Hebden, head of casino games at Microgaming, said: “When we released Max Damage and the Alien Attack in 2012 it presented something completely new to the industry.
“To our delight, the game was an instant success and has remained popular with players ever since. The natural next step for us was to take this in-house brand and enhance it – not only by branching out with a new online slot but improving the existing game, to ensure its longevity.”
The game’s wild symbol, the Max Damage logo, can be stacked three symbols high to send wins rocketing. In addition, three or more scatter alien symbols will trigger the free spins feature, presenting 15 free spins with a 2x multiplier. During which, a single alien spaceship can appear on each reel.
At this point, Max Damage enters the reels to blast the aliens away, rewarding players with an additional random prize.
