Jack Wild, the new casino from Isle of Man-licensed operator Locus Gaming, is targeted at the smartphone and tablet market.

The launch comes less than a year after former Ladbrokes employees Ed Andrewes and Mick d’Ancona set up Locus Gaming, which received its Isle of Man licence in December 2012.

The casino offers a range of traditional table games powered by Realistic Games, including roulette, blackjack and baccarat, as well as three-reel and five-reel slots such as Double Bubble, Tutankhamun, Pentagram, Over the Rainbow, Pirate Radio and Sunset Reels.

Andrewes, who was previously managing director of Ladbrokes’ online operation, said: “The key thing is that the customer account platform and games are tailored to optimise the customer experience for the devices from which they are accessed.

“They are not simply bolt-on products to a traditional PC offering and, in the longer term, this can really make the Jack Wild brand stand out.”

“It’s proven that customers prefer the functionality offered by touchscreen devices, not only in casino gaming but across all online leisure activity. The PC has rolled its last dice,” added Andrewes.
