Evolution Gaming has signed an agreement with Sky Betting & Gaming to provide customers with live broadcast-quality casino gaming on its Sky Vegas platform.
Sky Betting & Gaming’s business has experienced significant growth in the last year, thanks to the company’s diversification from its traditional focus on Interactive TV sports betting, and has now decided to partner with Evolution in response to customer demand for live casino games. The relationship will enable Sky Betting & Gaming to offer its customers interactive live blackjack, baccarat and roulette with live dealers using real cards and tables.
The deal looks set to be the next major step in the rapid growth of live gaming with Sky Betting & Gaming considering streaming its live casino on both online and TV platforms to provide players with a fully multi-channel solution.
“Live dealer will allow our customers to experience something beyond traditional RNG based gaming – a realistic and interactive casino experience,” said John Parsonage, head of gaming at Sky Betting & Gaming. “We are examining the legal and technical issues that would allow us to offer live gaming both online and through television.”
