Following a successful £5m advertising campaign, which saw the promotion of Ladbrokes' betting shops, the company has announced it will launch a £2m advertising campaign to help promote its online bingo site.
Since the initial television advert, Ladbrokes has posted a 30 per cent increase in net revenues to £1.23bn, plus an increase in operating profits to £420m.
Chris Bell, chief executive of Ladbrokes, said: “The removal of restrictions on TV advertising enables us to compete more effectively with other leisure industries and we were keen to be the first to take advantage of it.
“Tomorrow we run another campaign for Ladbrokes Bingo and in April launch our first campaign for Ladbrokes Casino."
