Sports betting revenue in Kansas rebounded in March, jumping by 134 per cent month-on-month.

After February’s revenue of US$3.1m was affected by the Kansas City Chiefs winning the NFL Super Bowl for the second season in a row, the figure rose to $7.1m in March.
However, the year-on-year comparison for March showed a 21.6 per cent decline from last March’s $9.1m, according to figures released by the Kansas Lottery.
Sports betting handle in the state increased on both counts to $252.9m, rising by 22.6 per cent and 24.6 per cent year-on-year and month-on-month, respectively.
Of the total handle in Kansas in March, $243.2m came from online operators, with their retail counterparts pulling in the other $9.7m.
DraftKings brought in the most handle and revenue in March – $98.3m and $4.7m, respectively – with FanDuel following behind.
