WeAreCasino, the provider and distributor of online slot and video bingo games, has appointed Marko Jelen as its new director of sales for Eastern Europe, CIS countries and the Middle East.
With a background in land-based casinos, Jelen has been involved in the igaming industry in the last three years. His former positions include general manager at Slovenian HIT Group Casino Perla, Casino Portoroz and Casino Portomaso in Malta. More recently, he was business development manager at Edesia/Wirex and Stanleybet.
“It was a hard decision to ‘leave’ land-based casinos after 25 successful years,” Jelen said.
“I covered important roles in some of the biggest European casinos, but now I’m happy. I have learned a lot and met great people. I truly believe in the potential and synergy that the two branches have.”
Jelen will join WeAreCasino’s commercial team and will be responsible mainly for sales and development of new partnerships with land-based and online casinos, aiming to deliver new products and synergies.
