Leading online bingo operator Jackpotjoy has appointed Irina Cornides as CEO of its Jackpotjoy division, which has a 22 per cent market share in the UK.

Cornides will act as management intermediary between Jackpotjoy and Gamesys, from which the divison was acquired in April, 2015. She will report to Andrew McIver, CEO of Jackpotjoy plc.

Cornides was most recently chief revenue officer of Intertain Bahamas, the holding company for the operating assets belonging to Jackpotjoy plc. She joined Intertain through the acquisition of Mandalay Media in 2014, where she was managing director.

McIver, said: “We are delighted that Irina has accepted a key role in our operating subsidiary, as she brings a wealth of experience and has demonstrated her ability to successfully grow and maintain our businesses.

“Irina has a deep understanding of the Jackpotjoy business and our relationships with Gamesys, who fully support her appointment."

Cornides added: "Although Jackpotjoy is already the leading bingo brand in the UK, we have big plans to further enhance player experience and grow the business.
