The UK Gambling Commission has suspended the operating licence of In Touch Games, suspecting the operator failed to follow licence conditions including on anti-money laundering policy.

The suspension marks the fourth round of action against In Touch Games, which was handed its third fine – of £6.1m – in January for social responsibility and AML failings.

The UKGC said the licensee “may be unsuitable to carry on” its activities in the UK market.

It added: “We have made it clear to the operator that during the course of the suspension we expect it to focus on treating consumers fairly and keeping them fully informed of any developments which impact them.”

The regulator said In Touch Games also failed on licence conditions relating to fair and transparent terms and practices, and reporting key events.
