The gambling regulator in the Netherlands has fined Hillside New Media Malta €400,000 following a broadcast of the TV programme Kassa.

The KSA said it found that bet365’s Malta-based operating arm had directed advertisements and bonuses to young adults between 18 and 24 years of age between October 2021 and February 2022.
A statement said that “vulnerable groups, such as young adults, must be given extra protection,” adding that gaming providers must “fully respect the rules intended to protect” such people.
The fine for Hillside New Media Malta is the third fine the KSA has given out to a permit holder for advertising aimed at young people.
