The board of GVC Holdings has announced that its sale of Headlong Ltd and other companies to Ropso Malta has been completed.
GVC is a major internet gambling operator in both the B2C and B2B markets. It has four business segments with several well-known brands including bwin, Sportingbet, Gamebookers, Partypoker and Foxy Bingo.
The company is based on the Isle of Man. Headlong and the other businesses sold comprise GVC’s Turkish operations. Ropso Malta is a company backed by investors currently providing the primary IT services to the Turkish businesses. The consideration was €150m in cash.
