GSN Games, a provider of social casino games and cash tournaments, is to acquire London-based social casino studio Plumbee.
Founded in 2011, Plumbee is best known for the Mirrorball Slots app, which has seen more than 10 million downloads on Facebook and mobile devices.
The studio brings a team of 40-plus employees with GSN acquiring 100 per cent of Plumbee equity, which was previously backed by Endemol and Idinvest Partners.
“This important acquisition will immediately bolster GSN Games’ ambitious growth plans by leveraging the top talent and social casino expertise of Plumbee to create best-in-class winning experiences for our players,” said Steve Brunell, chief operating officer of GSN.
