Odobo, the HTML5 game development and content specialist, has received a Gibraltar gaming licence.
CEO Ashley Lang said the licence marked another step forward for the company: “As the licensing authority will only consider licensing blue-chip companies with a proven track record in gambling, good financial standing and with a realistic business plan, licences are difficult to obtain.”
Julian Jarvis, chief of legal and business affairs for Odobo, added: “While our model is new and doesn’t necessarily fit neatly into the usual categories of licensee, we wanted to show our commitment to the highest regulatory standards and becoming a licensee in our home jurisdiction is part of that process.”
